Wigwe University, TWE 2030 Agenda, HOW Foundation to Partner in Strengthening Entrepreneurial Leadership Learning

A new initiative aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial mindset and leadership capacity of students at Wigwe University was the focus of a meeting between University leadership and executives from the Tochi Wigwe Entrepreneur 2030 Agenda and the HOW Foundation, led by Mr. Uche Wigwe and Ms. Tochi Wigwe.
Receiving the executives on Monday, January 19, 2026, Vice-Chancellor Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi expressed the University’s openness to ideas and initiatives that would provide a competitive advantage to Wigwe University students.
Professor Al-Akaidi said he was excited about the prospect of extracurricular learning and the benefits it would offer students across all programs of study, noting that it fully aligns with the University’s founding vision.
In a presentation to University leadership, the TWE 2030 Agenda was introduced as a platform for delivering leadership-based and entrepreneurship learning experiences designed to enhance the academic journey of university students.
The proposed program will focus on strengthening entrepreneurial mindsets, building emotional resilience, and developing the next generation of business leaders. The TWE 2030 Agenda will feature leading industry experts and business executives as part of the teaching faculty, where they will share their business experience and insights to help students grow and succeed in their chosen fields.
A working group was immediately established to develop the requisite curriculum to ensure readiness for deployment by the start of the second semester of the current academic session.
