The Vice-Chancellor and CEO of Wigwe University, Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi, met with the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Ambassador Gautier Mignot, at a public lecture organized by the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), where they briefly talked about possible areas of partnership between the EU Office in Nigeria and the University.The brief parley which occurred at the side of a lecture delivered by Ambassador Mignot at UNIPORT with the theme ‘The European Union; A Reliable Partner for Nigeria,’ as Professor Al-Akaidi noted from the lecture, key areas where a working relationship could evolve between both institutions.The discussion opened doors to potential collaboration, aligning the EU's role as a key partner for Nigeria and the founding vision of Wigwe University of becoming the hub for innovative education.
