The Management of Wigwe University today received the award-winning members of the University Creative Art Club (WUCAC) in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. Addressing the team, the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of the University, Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi, commended the team for bringing laurels to the institution.

Professor Al-Akaidi urged the team to prepare themselves for additional endeavours and projects that will ultimately serve to enhance their creativity. He stated, “We must transcend national boundaries to reach a continental level so that your talents and capabilities may be recognized by a broader audience.”

Professor Al-Akaidi, who was joined by the Director, Academic Planning Unit, Professor Chinyere Ukaga; Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr Phillip Adewuyi; and WUCAC Faculty Advisor, Mr Charles Victor Coker, assured the students of the University’s continuous support to hone their skills.

Acting Head of Department, Communication and Digital Media Studies, Dr. Tertsea Joseph Ikyoive, appreciated the University leadership for creating the requisite environment for the students to showcase their potential.

He requested the continued backing of the University and its administration for all student-related initiatives to secure further accolades for the institution.
