The Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of Wigwe University, Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi, at the Co-creation Hub Africa (CcHUB) ecosystem gathering on Saturday, November 29, 2025, engaged the Managing Director of the hub, Ojoma Ochai, in a discussion tailored towards evolving a partnership that will be mutually beneficial to both organizations.

During the interaction, Professor Al-Akaidi spoke of the resourcefulness and ingenuity of students at Wigwe University, noting the exceptional ideas pitched during the ‘Entrepreneurship & Innovation Challenge’ held earlier in the year at the university’s College of Management and Social Sciences.

According to him, a collaboration with a major start-up like Cc-Hub will go a long way toward motivating these students to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

Ms Ochai expressed gratitude for the conversation, noting that it was a reflection on the impact and shared vision between Wigwe University and Cc-Hub for Africa’s innovation future.

“We truly hope that the conversations sparked will continue and grow into meaningful opportunities and collaborations in the months ahead,” she added.

The prospect of a collaboration looks bright as further discussions are scheduled to continue to arrive at a workable relationship.
