The Vice-Chancellor of Wigwe University, Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Rivers State Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Peters Nwafor, during which they discussed issues of mutual interest aimed at advancing quality education in the state.
Dr. Nwafor appreciated the university’s leadership for the visit and assured them of the Ministry of Education’s readiness to collaborate with Wigwe University in promoting academic excellence in the state and beyond.
Professor Al-Akaidi, who was accompanied by the Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Professor Chinyere Ukaga, thanked the Honourable Commissioner for the warm reception and stated that Wigwe University remains open to working with the ministry’s leadership to further strengthen the existing ties between the state government and the university.
