The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) offers options for data correction on their portal, including changes to institutions, courses, and contact details. If you did not initially apply to Wigwe University, you still have the opportunity to modify your choice of institution via the JAMB portal.

How to pay for JAMB Change of Institution personally or via the JAMB office or accredited centre for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

Step 1:

Visit the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/

1. Login: Use your email and password to access your account.
2. Navigate to Data Correction: Select “Correction of Data” from the sidebar or the Home page, then choose “Course/Institution” and specify your exam year.
3. Search for Your Details: Enter your JAMB registration number and click “Search Details.”
4. Make a Payment: Select a payment option, such as Remita, and enter your card details. After completing the payment, preview your information. If everything is correct, confirm and click “Pay Now.”
5. Complete the Payment: Once the payment is successful, you will see your payment details and receive a transaction ID via email or SMS.
6. Continue with the Correction: Click “Continue” and provide your Year of Exam and JAMB Registration Number.
7. Select Your Preferences: Choose your preferred course/institution and your second choice. Submit the correct information.
8. Processing: JAMB will process your request, and if approved, your details will be updated accordingly.

Step 2:

1. Visit a JAMB Office or Accredited Centre: Locate and visit the nearest JAMB office or an accredited centre.
2. Request the Form: Ask for the JAMB Change of Institution Form.
3. Make Payment: Complete the required payment process.
4. Select Preferred Institutions: Choose your preferred institutions on the form.
5. Complete and Submit the Form: Fill out the form accurately and submit it.
6. Thumbprint Verification: Provide your thumbprint for verification purposes.
7. Processing: The attending JAMB officer will process your change of institution request via the JAMB CAPS portal.
8. Obtain Confirmation: Receive your JAMB Change of Institution printout as confirmation of the update.
