The Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of Wigwe University, Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi, at the sidelines of the MasterCard Foundation EdTech Fellowship Demo Day and at the CcHUB ecosystem gathering parleyed with the Founder & CEO of Varsityscape, Mr Daniel Idiare, on possible areas of collaboration.

Mr Idare, who expressed enthusiasm during the discussion, said the team from Varsityscape will be visiting the Wigwe University campus for an interactive session with staff and students to see what areas they can collaborate on. According to him, the idea behind the visit is to explore how to promote unlocking Africa’s future by preparing for the fourth industrial revolution through active engagement with Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation, and helping chart a new dimension for the future of work.

During their time on our campus, the team from Varsityscape would have a sit-down with the Vice-Chancellor to understand the university’s vision and its intended role in shaping the future of education in Africa.
