BSc. Film and Media Studies.
In this department, students will immerse themselves in the world of cinema and screen studies. They will develop critical thinking skills, explore film history, analyze storytelling techniques, and master the art of filmmaking. Graduates will be equipped to produce compelling cinematic narratives and excel in the film and entertainment industries.
UTME ENTRY
In addition to acceptable scores in UTME, candidates must have obtained five Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) credit passes which must include English Language, and Literature in English, in addition to any other art or social science subjects, in no more than two sittings.
DIRECT ENTRY MODE
Candidates who fulfill the SSCE requirements above (5 credit passes), and two (2) credit passes in relevant Advanced level subjects or equivalents, including National Certificate of Education (NCE); National Diploma (ND), Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB); Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) with upper credit or its equivalent may be admitted to 200 level of the programme.
