BA Animation and Visual Arts | Bsc. Communication and Digital Media

This department focuses on preparing students for careers in the ever-expanding communication and digital media industries. Students will delve into subjects such as journalism, public relations, social media, advertising, animations and multimedia storytelling. They will learn to navigate the digital landscape and develop strategies to effectively communicate messages across various platforms.

 

UTME Entry

In addition to acceptable scores in UTME, candidates must have obtained five Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) credit passes which must include English Language, and mathematics, in addition to any other art or social science subjects, in no more than two sittings.

 

Direct entry mode

Candidates who fulfill the SSCE requirements above (5 credit passes), and two (2) credit passes in relevant Advanced level subjects or equivalents, including National Certificate of Education (NCE);  National Diploma (ND), Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB); Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) with upper credit or its equivalent may be admitted to 200 level of the programme.
