The Vice-Chancellor of Wigwe University, Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi, has called upon faculty members to uphold rigorous academic standards in the development and implementation of examination assessment processes.Professor Al-Akaidi issued this directive on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, during a comprehensive presentation delivered in preparation for the forthcoming semester examinations scheduled to commence later this month. He instructed Deans of Colleges and Heads of Department to ensure that all examinations and associated assessment materials undergo thorough internal and external review processes.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the imperative that students be evaluated exclusively on content delivered during instructional sessions, in strict compliance with the National Universities Commission (NUC) regulatory framework.
