The Vice-Chancellor of Wigwe University, Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi, yesterday received the past Chair of the Governing Board of the Nigeria Mid and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Mr Ambassador Idaere Gogo-Ogan, in his office, where they parleyed on advancing the vision of the young institution.

Mr. Idaere Gogo-Ogan commended the level of investment into the vision of the late founder of Wigwe University, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, and applauded the university’s Board of Trustees and Governing Council for providing the university’s leadership with the requisite backing to execute the set vision. Noting, after a tour of the university’s infrastructure, his amazement at the facilities that have been put in place for this purpose.

Professor Al-Akaidi appreciated Mr. Ambassador Idaere Gogo-Ogan for the visit and for the support he and other spirited Nigerians have continually shown toward the full actualization of the university’s vision.
